Continuing our efforts to support the students of the local Serengeti Tourism College (SETCO), we recently welcomed a total of nine students for internships that lasted just over six weeks. During this time, each student received a host of practical training in the various operational departments, which were chosen to best suit the area of most interest for their studies.
This recent training programme is now the third in which Four Seasons has completed with SETCO, with Samwel Paul having just become the first student to ear full time employment with the Lodge.
In addition to welcoming the students for training, property tours and interview training with the Lodge’s management team, Four Seasons also actively engages with enhancing the environment of the college, through tree-planting and building maintenance. All of these efforts work towards offering greater promotion of the hospitality industry in the local community and we look forward to welcoming many more SETCO students in the coming months.More posts from September 2015
