To capitalise upon the tranquil inspiration of its central Serengeti location, Four Seasons Safari Lodge is launching new kids’ yoga classes to promote the importance of wellbeing to its youngest guests, marking the latest activity to be added to its dedicated programme of family activities.
Led by resident yogi, Sajeesh Pazhayidath, children will be taught simple yoga poses in a fun teaching session that is specially designed to help enhance balance, strength and flexibility in both physical and mental aspects, to assist children in their development. Taking place at the yoga pavilion in the six suite Spa, children may enjoy the art of mastering new yoga poses while parents relax with one of the Lodge’s signature spa rituals.
The new kids’ yoga classes join a number of exclusive children’s experiences available at Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, with other activities in the Kids for All Seasons programme including the cutting of popular wildlife shaped cookies in kids’ cooking classes, learning how to make a fire from local trees with one of the Lodge’s Maasai guides, and installing a camera trap around the Lodge to capture photos of visiting wildlife with a member of the Discovery Centre team.
With a dedicated Kijana Kids’ Klub, plus a range of engaging and educational activities offered through the onsite Discovery Centre, Four Seasons Safari Lodge provides no end of interactive pastimes for children aged two and above. The Lodge is home to a total of 12 spacious family Terrace Suites and five freestanding villas, making for the perfect family accommodation for a Serengeti safari.More posts from December 2015
